So 2009 seems to be the 'year of travelling to America' for me - February was the New York Comic Con and then Gallifrey One in Los Angeles, July was the San Diego Comic Con, at the end of October I'll be over in Florida for the Hurricane Who convention- and now, it's just been announced that I'll be in Chicago over Thanksgiving weekend as a guest of Chicago TARDIS, alongside such luminaries as Paul McGann, Jason Haigh-Ellery and Nick Briggs.

Actually it'll be myself and Tracy who turn up, and it should be interesting as it's her first full scale Doctor Who convention. I'm putting money on her screaming and hiding by the end of Friday. Either that, or she'll have jumpstarted a Dalek and will be whooping, doing her own version of Grand Theft Auto on the dealers floor.

Currently I'm playing with the idea of popping over to New York directly after for a couple of days as it'll be the last chance for me to do so in 2009, so I might be adding something else to that list...
