The Year That Was… And What Will Be…

So. 2012 is finally ending, and the newborn 2013 is already starting to make it’s way around the world as I write this, my summary of the year. A year where I began at my lowest ebb and slowly clawed my way back up. Well, that might be a little melodramatic – after all, I wasn’t ending the year at the [&hellip

Hiding In The Headmaster’s Office…

When I was ten years old, I sent Anthony Ainley a letter. Bear with me on this one, there’s a reason I start with this. Ainley was, at the time ‘The Master’ on Doctor Who, and I thought he was brilliant. I’ve been nominated for countless Eagles over the [&hellip

MCM Ahoy…

So tomorrow I’ll be avoiding this lovely sunny weather we’re expecting in London, and instead spend whole days in effectively an air conditioned airplane hanger, sitting behind a table, signing comics at the London MCM Expo. Well, I say that, but as I’m making the times and schedules for my time at the table up as I go along, you [&hellip

SFX Weekender – The Report…

So this weekend Dan and I attended the SFX Weekender event in Prestatyn in Wales, a weekend in a Pontins camp, hosted by SFX Magazine that is rapidly becoming our favourite event of the entire convention calender. Last year it was held in Camber Sands, a significantly shorter journey for us, but we were ready and able to drive the five or so ours [&hellip
